Invitation Design
The  design investigation will begin with research into silent era cinema (pre-1930s). The task is to choose a silent era
film and promote the re-release of our chosen film, as if it had never been released before. Therefore we cannot make
hyperbolic references to “digitally remastered” or “new and undiscovered”, etc. The film must be promoted on its own
merits, without reference to the past, as if it were a new film being released into today’s landscape. Project made in 2013.

All of the cuts are done manually with a xacto knife.  Overall, I was not that happy with the final product, due to the inaccuracy in scoring, and as well cutting the edges.

If you noticed it already, since this is a Charlie Chaplin movie premiere invitation, I use the cut out below the hat as a symbol to signify his moustache.
